With over 20 years of first hand experience on average, each of the experts that contribute to the information and products available here either live or have lived in the country for extended periods, are married to Filipinas or have experienced first hand the search for a Filipina via email, chatrooms and face to face vacations.

Unlike other sites with vested interests (we have those, we call them eBooks!) we try to tell it how we believe it really is. The Philippines is a paradise if you want it to be; but it can be a hell on earth if things go wrong. We tell you what can go wrong and how to avoid it happening to you! Filipinas are dream partners, but dreams can also turn to nightmares. Again, StreetWise Philippines lays it out how it really is, no sugar coating!

Perry Gamsby MA(Writing), AsscDip SmlBusMgt; a former Military Policeman and Combat Engineer with the Australian Regular Army, Perry is also a noted expert in Filipino Martial Arts. Married with five children, Perry visited the Philippines for 20 years before relocating there in 2002. In the next few years Perry wrote several books about his experiences in business, real estate, his new family and the many fun times before taking his tribe back to Sydney, Australia. He now maintains currency via regular trips and of course his ownership of several Philippines related Yahoo Groups and a very wide network of friends and informants.

Christopher Bennetts, Entrepreneur and WebMaster has been intimately involved with the Philippines for a quarter of a century and at present working out of Cebu since 2006, making his living off the local economy and the internet. Chris has a wealth of first hand experience and knowledge, as well as a plethora of innovative ideas and can be relied upon to ensure all our Members receive the best in service and support.
